Inside the textured acrylic cube a small plate of light slowly turns. The ridges in the crystal catch it and throw it outwards, so the walls and ceiling fill with soft, drifting waves of colour, like an aurora seen through ice. Off, it is a handsome clear cube on a block of wood. On, it changes the whole room.

Sixteen Colours, One Remote

Pick a deep teal for winding down, warm amber for a dinner, a slow fade through every colour for a party, or plain white as a bedside lamp. The remote sets colour, brightness and the cycling modes from the sofa or the bed. Two lamps either side of a bed make the effect symmetrical.

Small Lamp, Big Effect

The cube is 11 cm across on an 11.5 cm wooden base, so it sits on a bedside table, a desk or a shelf without taking any room. It runs from USB, 3 W, so a phone charger or a laptop port powers it and it costs almost nothing to leave on all evening.
