Lighted Woodland Christmas Garland with Layered Trees, Deer and Stars, Warm White LEDs on Jute Rope, Battery with Timer, 1.5 m

A Little Forest on a Rope

Three fir trees built from layered green felt-finish wood, two deer with antlers and snow on their backs, silver stars and wooden beads, all strung along a natural jute rope. Micro LEDs run through the trees, so when the lights come on in the evening the whole scene glows soft gold.

For the Mantel, the Window or the Stairs

At 1.5 m it spans a standard fireplace with a little drape at each end. Hang it across a window and the snow outside becomes the backdrop. Run it down a banister and it lights the way upstairs. Two loops, one at each end, go over nails, hooks or the curtain pole.

Hand-Finished Pieces

Each tree is layered and tipped with white; each deer is painted and dusted; the stars and beads are threaded on by hand. The small differences between pieces are what make it look collected rather than bought.

No Socket Needed

The battery box hides behind the last tree and takes three AA batteries. A six-hour timer brings the lights on at the same time each evening, so once it is hung you can forget about it until January.
