The spring tension rod twists out until it grips both sides of the frame. No drill, no screws, no marks, which makes it the renter's option. The curtain hangs from the rod on sewn-in loops and a magnetic strip down the leading edge snaps it shut against a matching strip on the frame side, so it closes behind you without a tie-back.

Heavier Than It Looks

The fabric is a dense polyester with deep box pleats, the weight that keeps it hanging straight and stops it swinging when someone walks past. It is opaque enough for privacy in a lit room and cuts the light from a hallway into a bedroom. Machine washable on a cool cycle; the rod stays up.

Three Colours, One Size

Beige for warm rooms, grey for modern interiors, blue if you want it to show. 200 cm drop covers a standard doorway with a little to spare, and the rod extends from 70 to 90 cm. For a wider opening, two curtains meet in the middle on their magnets.
